I have been a Graduate Sports Therapist for 9 years. I run my own Sports Therapy Business & Clinic in Farnborough, Hampshire.
I am an Ex National Junior Squash Player and my interest and participation in Sports from a young age have helped me develop a multi-dimensional approach to Sports Therapy and the Therapist I am today.
I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Therapy.
I began my Sports Therapy career working in the Physiotherapy Department at the David Lloyd Gym in Farnham. I worked here full time and part time over the course of 5 years. Within that time, I also set up my own Injury and Sports Massage clinic at Old Thorns Golf & Country Club in Liphook.
I also have 5 years’ experience working in Rugby. I’ve worked at Chobham RFC and was Head Therapist at Farnham RFC running injury clinics, attending pitch side games, providing first aid and Sports Therapy services.
MY ROLE IN YOUR RECOVERY
My role as a Graduate Sports Therapist is not just about treating athletes or people who participate in Sport. Sports Therapy is for anyone and I have worked with a wide range of clients over the years who are from different lifestyles, they are different ages and have different fitness levels.
We want to work with you to help establish the cause of your pain, injury or issue using your history and a thorough subjective and objective assessment. We then determine the most effective course of treatment through a variety of techniques which could include Sports Massage, Dry Needling, Taping, Cupping, further gait analysis and muscle firing tests.
You will leave your appointment with advice on how to manage your pain or injury and a rehabilitation plan that is likely to include mobility, flexibility and strength exercises needed to get you back on track.
We want to give YOU the tools to learn how to manage and move forward with your own recovery.
